These components are: first and second double-crystal structures, detector stage, sample stage, Be windows, ion chamber, photodiode detector, and imager. The associated cabling and computer control will be tested and commissioned. Important issues include the linearity of the detectors and the optical allignment of the high resolution elements. Testing of the zero beam -- no sample configuration -- and comparison to theoretical will be important. Once the assembly and testing is completed, measurements will be made on a representative sampling of materials for which we have already acquired some earlier data, where the new data will extend the q-range into the previously inaccessible lowest q region. Samples are: silica, zirconia, alumina, aluminum, MgAl2O4, and other similar ceramic materials (i.e., fully reacted). equipment+required: slits, monitor, (ion chamber if ours is not ready) experiment: Commissioning of the 33-ID conditioning table hazards: none. All of the samples are fully reacted and inert. name: A. Allen, G. Long, and P. Jemian new+request: on nonmembers: none station: 33ID-D unacceptable+dates: June 15 - July 5. July 18 - 25. #QUERY_STRING: #REMOTE_HOST: mat180.nist.gov #REMOTE_ADDR: 129.6.180.180 #CONTENT_LENGTH: 1376 #HTTP_REFERER: http://www.uni.aps.anl.gov/unireq.htm #HTTP_USER_AGENT: Mozilla/3.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC)
