description:
	We will try to observe structural changes of surfaces 
	during film deposition and/or chemisorption. This will be done in
	real time using the RSXD pattern technique. Anomalous scattering
	technique will be used to enhance the contrast between the films
	and substrates. Anticipated systems for the experiment are Si(111)-
	Ag-(root 3), Si(111)-As-(1x1) and Ge on Si(100)-(2x1).

	Surface Diffractometer
	Green CCD

experiment:
	Real-time observation of surface structural transformation

hazards:
	No hazadous material will be envoleved.
	As deposition will be done through cracking GaAs in an
	effusion cell. This would cause 1x10-7 torr or less partial
	pressure of As for a brief period (about a minute).
