	In the requested beam time, we plan to install and test the USAXS slits 
	and the USAXS sealed ionization chamber. This would complete the first
	stage of USAXS commisssioning.
	
	In addition, we plan to measure depletion stabilization in
	binary, charged suspensions with Valeria Tohver and Jennifer Lewis of
	the University of Illinois. They are studying the formation of
	colloidal crystals from solution, and they have found that the initial 
	suspension of primary colloids (D = 500 nm) is weakly flocculated in 
	the absence of depletant species. Upon addition of the depletant (D = 
	8 nm) they observed (from rheological studies) restabilization 
	of the suspension. We would like to follow the behavior of the
	colloids and the depletant in suspension with USAXS to
	observe possible changes in the surfaces of the colloid.
	
	Addional materials we need to examine (we have incomplete data from
	earlier measurements) are: MgAl2O4, SiO2, Al2O3, ZrO2 ceramics.
