This alloy has been the subject of comparative studies examining mechanical property changes induced by electron irradiation. ASAXS is needed to isolate the scattering from Cu-rich precipitation in the presence of other types of scatterer. The USAXS instrument is capable of performing these measurements near the Cu K edge, even in the presence of Fe flourescence since the analyzer crystal serve as a scattered beam monochromator. Also, the USAXS instrument will provide us with an absolute cross-section measurement for making quantitative determinations about the amount precipitation. If possible, we would like to also measure the ASAXS from the Mn precipitation. equipment+required: USAXS instrument. experiment: ASAXS of Cu-precipitation in Fe-0.9Cu-1.0Mn steel hazards: No hazards. name: Pete Jemian new+request: on nonmembers: Dale Alexander, ANL/MSD station: 33ID-D unacceptable+dates: Dale is unavailable 8/1-8/15, 8/18-8/19, 9/10-21 #QUERY_STRING: #REMOTE_HOST: zrh.uni.aps.anl.gov #REMOTE_ADDR: 164.54.216.36 #CONTENT_LENGTH: 1220 #HTTP_REFERER: http://www.uni.aps.anl.gov/unireq.htm #HTTP_USER_AGENT: Mozilla/4.51 [en] (WinNT; I)
