description:
	     We would like to study the surface structure of a Ni-10at%Al(111)
	single crystal surface at diffeent temperatures. We have already a
	lot of experince with this system, since we have investigated in
	detail a (110) crystal of the same material. In the x-ray experiments 
	we would like to measure the specular rod (00L) as well as the 
	(1,-1,L) and (2,-2,L) rods and their symmetry equivalents. Also, we 
	would like to study the reconstruction of this surface at high 
	temperature.
	     Since  the signals from a 2-dimensional quasi-L12 ordered surface 
	structure at the (1,-1,L) rods are quite weak, justifying the use of 
	such a high brightness source as the APS.
