We will study YSZ deposits and other anisotropic samples. The previous experiment proved to be most promissing and we need to improve our understanding of the technique and stability of instrument. YSZ deposits (thermally sprayed and especially EB_PVD deposited) are industrially important samples with complex anisotropic microstructures. Their studies are fast becoming important part of NIST research. Other appropriate anisotropic samples may be used to study capabilities of the instrument. equipment+required: USAXS experiment: Development of Side-Bounce USAXS and studies of YSZ deposits foreign+nationals: hazards: no hazards. minimumdays: 5 name: Jan Ilavsky new+request: on nonmembers: none expected station: 33ID-D unacceptable+dates: anything before September 17 - Andrew Allen is unavailable due to long business trip. #REMOTE_HOST: prg.uni.aps.anl.gov #REMOTE_ADDR: 164.54.216.47 #CONTENT_LENGTH: 1008 #HTTP_REFERER: http://www.uni.aps.anl.gov/unireq.htm #HTTP_USER_AGENT: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; Windows 98)
