description:
	We wish to monitor in real time, phase transistions of key structural alloys. Samples will be held at elevated temperatures in the x-ray beam and the powder diffraction lines will be monitored with a CCD. The CCD will be binned to improve the readout rate to ~ 1-10 hz. Alternatively we can setup a single channel detector behind a circular aperture for even faster real-time measurements if the particle averaging is sufficient. As the experimental sophistication grows we will include a tensile load.
