description:
	We would like to continue in situ, high temperature (up to 2000%B0C) studies of phase transformations in rare earth niobates and titanates.   We would like to collect x-ray diffractometry data for comparison with Rietveld analyses, to obtain lattice parameters, thermal expansion coefficients, transformation temperatures,precise lattice parameters and volume changes at the transformation temperatures.  This data will subsequently be used in predictions of martensitic transformation mechanisms. X-ray diffractometry data will also be collected in situ of unknown crystal structures which only occur at high temperatures and are unquenchable to room temperature.   We would like to use the bending magnet.
