description:
	X-ray diffraction will be used to analyze phase as a function of
	position in films grown with compositional gradients. Films are 10
	microns thick, with a different composition of Fe-Ni-Cr at each
	points. A CCD detector will be used to acquire diffraction patterns
	as the sample is scanned.
