The final device will consist of a hard X-ray microscope working with a KB-mirror as condenser and a FZP as objective lens, integrated to a tomography setup. In a first step all elements available up to now will be tested. Actually a state-of-the-art tomography system is assembled. It has some additional features, like a high precision rotation stage, matching to the requirements for high spatial resolution. After some laboratory tests, the performance has to be checked under real conditions. The resulting improvements will allow continuing the project with highly reliable modular units. The goal for this first experiment is to show tomography with micrometer resolution. On this length-scale -as a further result- in-line phase-contrast experiments will be possible. In the next step the setup will be then completed with the X-ray microscope optics (KB-mirror, Fresnel-zone Plate) for experiments with resolution on the nanometer scale.
