Useful information has been obtained and different behavior across different grain boundary types have been observed. To investigate the behavior of different grain boundary types, we propose to perform experiments on a set of tricrystals with controlled grain boundary structures. Two tricrystals will be measured: one consists of a twin boundary and the other with a high angle low energy tit boundary. Based on previous experiments, it is estimated 5 days will be needed for each sample.
