description:
	This is an exploratory project to examine the effects that annealing
processes have on the polycrystalline micro/nano-structure in the edge of
certain industrial samples of stainless steel blades that we have
acquired.  Relative proportions of different crystalline phases will be
measured via the powder diffraction patterns produced at different depths into the blade edge.
