Possible studies of polymer composite systems will require commissioning of the flow cell remote temperature control capability. In addition some measurements will be made on solid composite materials that complement these and other studies. Preference is for 1 day on static samples followed by 4 days using the flow cell, all at around 10 keV energy. To prepare for the the flo-cell run, time late in the cycle is requested (except for the impossible dates given below). equipment_required: USAXS fluid flow cell and interfacing with 33-ID-D computer control required (Pete Jemian needs to be available). experiment: USAXS Flow Cell III and Polymer Composites foreign_nationals: hazards: Handling of chemical dispersants and acid/base suspensions. Chemlab facilities will be requested. No unusual hazards. instrument: 33ID-D USAXS instrument_other: minimumdays: 4 name: Andrew Allen nonmembers: unacceptable_dates: November 24 - December 6 (incl) z34ID_details: #REMOTE_HOST: bmi.uni.aps.anl.gov #REMOTE_ADDR: 164.54.216.82 #CONTENT_LENGTH: 1182 #HTTP_REFERER: http://www.uni.aps.anl.gov/unireq.htm #HTTP_USER_AGENT: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040113
