This will be done by measuring the PDF with sample in two positions, rotated by 90 degrees in chi. An earlier experiment (PRB 35, 2162 (1987)) showed the bond-orientational anisotropy (BOA) develops by deformation. We will study the BOA as a function of composition and deformation temperature. equipment_required: experiment: Local structure of deformed metallic glasses foreign_nationals: Maxim Lobanov hazards: None expected instrument: 33BM-C fourc instrument_other: minimumdays: 3 name: Takeshi Egami nonmembers: Wojtek Dmowski, Univ. of Tennessee unacceptable_dates: z34ID_details: #REMOTE_HOST: egamipc1.engr.utk.edu #REMOTE_ADDR: 160.36.8.78 #CONTENT_LENGTH: 895 #HTTP_USER_AGENT: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)
