description:
	Diffuse scattering from a single crystal of YBa2Cu4O8 will be measured as a function of temperature to detect possible structural inhomogeneity in the sample which may be related to superconductivity. The measurement will be made near the Cu edge in resonant condition. The earlier measurement at ID-33 showed an indication of Cu inhomogenety to develop at low temperatures, but the statistics was not good enough to make a conclusion.
