THe results of the previous work (Exp#629) are promising. Thus, we seek to refine this work by: 1. Optimizing the sample orientation 2. Exaime oreintational effects at low Q orientation or surface features using side bounce USAXS. As before, we will rely on the beamline scientists' guidance for the many decisions about the experiment. The goal is still to determine the average pore size in 10-20 micron slices though the thickness (translating the sample). equipment_required: none needed experiment: Pore Sizes in Diesel Soot, part 2 foreign_nationals: Jianming Bai (Mainland China, Jianming is our beamline scientist at NSLS).
