Last year's measurements were partially successful but revealed a problem associated with how the energy was varied. Measurements in February 2005, while indicating we can resolve this issue, were not successful due to other instrument issues. We now request 2-3 days to try and get a clean set of ASAXS data on at least the most critical samples, using the newly polished crystal optics. While the beam size must be small to get the spatial variation, we will not attempt side-bounce this time. Regular configuration only is requested. equipment_required: Regular USAXS at ~ 17.9 keV, for ASAXS measurements.
