description:
	Structural and electronic properties of supported Pt clusters will be investigated in relation to the cluster-support interaction. From the last experiment, we found that the strong interaction between support and cluster has significant impact on the nature of the metallic clusters after the cluster has been reduced. To further investigate this effect both the clusters and support will be measured with XAFS at different temperature ranges (150 K to 600 K). Pt clusters supported on different oxide support (alumina) will be studied to understand the effect of the support structure to the effect of the metallic clusters.
