description:
	We will use 3D depth-resolved polychromatic microdiffraction to investigate the formation and strain of small, phase-separated domains in bulk manganite crystals such as (EuY)MnO3 and (LaSrLu)MnO3.  We will map the microscopic inhomogeneities in composition, phase, orientation, and lattice strain. We will use energy-wire-position scans to measure the absolute lattice parameter changes near phase boundaries.  We will compare the measurements with theoretical expectations for self-organized phase coexistence.
