description:
	Coherent X-ray Diffraction will be used on new samples of nanowires to be provided by Philips semiconductor.  THe wires of III-V semiconductor are grown by CVD on Au nanoparticles which determine their size.  CXD will see slices where the 'pancake' shaped diffraction intersects the Ewald sphere.

This will be the introductory experiment for Steven Leake, who is starting his PhD on the project.
