Full 3D visualization of domain wall fluctuations will provide unique insight into quantum mechanical behavior of this and other similar magnetic systems. In previous experiments carried out at the APS beamline 8-ID, we studied domain wall dynamics in a bulk sample of antiferromagnetic chromium using the technique of X-ray Photon Correlation Spectroscopy (XPCS). The timescale of fluctuations slows down as the temperature is decreased, saturating at 3,000 s at the lowest temperatures of our measurements (4K-30K).
