description:
	GaN nano-rods on a-plane GaN grown on r-plane sapphire are to be investigated by coherent x-ray scattering. The samples are grown by MOvPE at the Institute of Solid State Physics in Bremen and the are they  are indeed the first GaN rods which are not grown on Si but on sapphire.
