description:
	Anomalous scattering on the Se and Pb edges, in plane diffraction using grazing incidence diffractometry, and area detector scans.  Samples are composed of (PbSe)x(WSe2)y, (PbTe)x(WSe)y , (PbSe)x(TaSe)y, (PbSe)x(CrSe2)y, (PbSe)x(MoSe2)y, (PbSe)x(WSe2)y, (PbTe)x(MoSe2)y, (PbTe)x(WSe2)y, NbSe2, TaSe2, TiTe2 samples deposited on Si wafers will be analyzed.  We will be using proper safety procedures for entering and exiting the hutch.  The samples will be handled only on the Si portion to prevent exposure to heavy metals.  Samples will be mounted to aluminum posts using adhesive tape.
